At the Catholic Community of Buffalo North, our Family Faith Formation program is designed to warmly welcome all families from all of our parish communities and guide them in growing in faith, knowledge, and relationship with Christ and the Church.

In aligning with the Diocese of Buffalo standards and curriculum, these lessons can be completed at home as a family or participate in an on campus lesson presented by a catechist in a family setting at Assumption Church on a monthly basis.
There are also various activities to participate in additional events throughout the year.
Registration fee is $100.00 per family and should accompany the registration form completed and returned either online or in person at the CCBN Central Office, 16 Peter St., Buffalo, NY 14207.
Below is a list of faith topics for parents to share with their children. New content will be available for each topic on a yearly basis. (September through May). Check Bulletin for other family activities.
Family Orientation for the new year is scheduled for August 25, 2026 at 6:00pm in Assumption Church.

Each Topic will have two faith lessons. One for families with young children (grades 1-5). One for families with teen children (grades 6-10). Submit the Faith Journey Checklist that you will receive at the parent meeting to the Faith Formation Office by May 3, 2027 so we can monitor your family's progress which is important when determining readiness for sacraments. (Reconciliation, Eucharist, Confirmation)
