Fr Dave was assigned Pastor of the Catholic Community of Buffalo, North beginning September 1st, 2022. Ordained since 2010, Fr Dave was first assigned to St Gregory the Great parish in Williamsville, then Queen of Heaven in West Seneca, and most recently served as Pastor of Our Lady of Pompeii and St Teresa of Calcutta in Lancaster/Depew. His favorite part of ministry is the celebration of the Sacraments. Fr Dave considers it a great privilege to accompany God’s people through the many spiritual and emotional milestones of their lives. The eldest of four children, Fr Dave loves spending time with his mother, his sisters, his brother and his seventeen nieces and nephews! He also really enjoys being outside during Buffalo summers, relaxing with brother priests and playing the guitar.

Deacon: Kevin Barron

Deacon Kevin was recently ordained on May 20th, 2023 as a permanent deacon and assigned to Catholic Community of Buffalo, North. He has been married to the woman of his dreams, Cathy, for the last 31 years. He has two adult daughters, Carly, 28 & Abby, 25. He currently works full time for the Diocese of Buffalo as the Administrator for the Cardinal O’Hara retirement residence for priests. When speaking about his vocation to the diaconate he writes, "I was invited to the Diaconate many times over the last 10 years and it took me a while to get over the cold feet and the feelings of not being worthy enough for the vocation… And I finally started five years ago and was just ordained May 20, 2023."

Deacon: Timothy Chriswell 

Deacon Tim works full-time for the Diocese of Buffalo as the Director of Deacons. He oversees all the active deacons in our diocese along with the men in formation to become deacons. Deacon Tim was ordained on June 6th, 2009, and served at St Martha, Depew, Our Lady of Peace, Clarence, and Sacred Heart of Jesus Shrine in Bowmansville, before joining the family of Buffalo North. As director of formation, deacon Tim utilizes the retreat center at St. Rose of Lima for formation. Married in 1992 to Mary, Deacon Tim has 2 grown children Sara and David and they live just on the border of Buffalo in Cheektowaga.

Deacon: Timothy Haley 

Business Manager: Dave Mikulski

Dave serves as our Business Manager. He is a retired CPA and banking executive, having completed an over 40 year career as an accounting and finance manager. Most recently, he worked nearly 10 years at M&T Bank and prior to that, he worked 27 years at HSBC Bank. He has been married to his wife, Susan, for 44 years, is a father of 3 children and a grandfather of 4. His hobbies are exercising and doing volunteer work. He is currently the Treasurer of the Graycliff Conservancy, which oversees the Frank Lloyd Wright designed house in Derby, NY. Previously, he served as a religious education teacher and board member at Saint Gregory the Great Parish. 

Strategic Planning & Special Projects: Betsy Amico 

Betsy Amico serves as our Strategic Planning & Special Projects Consultant. Betsy Amico fell in love with Jesus when she was growing up at St Catherine of Siena Parish in West Seneca where she served as the youth minister for three years before it closed in 2008 and Betsy moved the youth program over to Queen of Heaven. After ten years, Betsy expanded into faith formation and youth ministry at Our Lady of Pompeii in Lancaster where she later became the Director of Pastoral Ministry providing support to the clergy and active ministries of the parish. Betsy is a proud aunt of 14 nieces and nephews. When she isn't spending time with family, Betsy loves to travel!

Director of Communications: Desiree Lee

Desiree is one of our Co-Directors of Communications and a mom of three St. Mark School students. Prior to stepping back from her career to be a stay-at-home-mom, she spent nearly 20 years in the Cable industry working in various roles from a front-line agent to instructional design, process improvement, product development and finally to the Sr. Manager of Knowledge Management at Spectrum Business. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Buffalo State and is a Certified Knowledge Manager.
